The Wings penalty kill has owned the Avs thus far. Gotta get a goal, though, can't count on keeping Colorado down forever.

Manny gets the shutout on his birthday, Wings turned on the offense in the third and get the big win. Fun game to watch.

Wasn't an entirely exciting game but very well played by both teams. The difference was the third, where the Wings capitalized on their chances and the Avs didn't.

I'll admit, I get upset with the wings after they blow a 3-0 lead to Dallas, or outshoot Nashville 41-14 and lose, but they totally redeam themselves whenever they beat the avs. In addition, the 3-0 win came after I had a big debate with a avs fan over lemieux's cheap shot on Draper years ago, all adds to compliment.
