I'll be damned if the Wings haven't been buzzing since the start of the second. Hopefully they've put that crappy first period behind them.

I'd probably be saying the opposite if the scores were switched, but I really hate it when the puck just gets covered along the boards at the end of the game. Don't even get a chance to score and it's not like the defense is even trying to play the puck, they're just killing the clock.

I'm going to merge this thread with the first one and make it a Wings-Preds extravaganza thread.

This time around, the Wings need to get better shots. They took a lot of them yesterday but not of a high quality. Shots from the outside that were easy to stop. Couldn't get open in the slot enough.

Scratch what I said about Legace.

It's called a poke-check, Manny, try it some time instead of letting guys skate right in on you.

And if it is not insult to injury with losing both games it is the fact that blank blank Kariya scored the game winner :D :cursing: :cursing:

Detroit really needs to start capatilizing on their opportunities (powerplays, odd-man rushes, etc.) It's tough to watch them outshoot a team 41-14 like Monday night and fail to win.
