After a few days off should be an easy win as long as we are not over confident

Tonight, we need to focus on shutting down Nash. Since he's been back from his injury, he's continued to light the lamp. He's always had the nak of scoring against Detroit as well. In addition, I hate watching him celebrate. Go Wings!

Was there even an odd-man rush by CBJ? Wings really seemed to be covering each other. Looked kinda like a practice.

Outside of the first period, the Wings really did control the play very well.

Columbus got a decent number of shots off when they were playing well in the first but after that there wasn't a whole lot. Probably four good chances in the second and third, I'd guess.

Very strong game by the Wings. True, the Blue Jackets suck, but the Wings needed to make sure they didn't give up any points looking ahead to Colorado.

I'll try to have some photos from the game posted to the site later today.

Overall, great game. Ozzy really stepped up, robbing Zheredev in the first. Next up, Colorado, lets hope Hank is back. I expect him, Shanny, and Datsyuk to light up the lamp.

Got the photos posted at http://www.detroitho...date=2006-01-18

Most are pre-game but there are a few in-game shots included.

Nice to see Ozzy get the shutout... Who is that Federov guy they have? I thought he was like one of the greats or something :D
