First period thoughts...

Surprised to see Manny in goal after the loss to Vancouver, expected to see Osgood back and Legace in tomorrow.

Good to see Lang get his hands back. Freezing Kipper and putting it five-hole, very nice.

My red-and-white-colored glasses have me seeing the Flames getting away with some late hits and holding. With how the Wings' powerplay has sucked lately, it probably doesn't matter that it's not being called.

At the end of the period, it looked like the ice sucked. The puck was bouncing all over.

Wow. I know everyone loves Legace and all, but he saw McCarty coming and still didn't get that post covered, that's just sloppy.
