Definitely surprising to see the Wings down early but Legace's made a couple big stops already, so at least it looks like he's alright.

How good are things going for a player when he can bank a shot off the goalie's mask from behind the net and in? Way to go Homer.

I didn't see him bank off his mask. Holy crap! The view I saw it appeared to bank of Labarbera's pad.

Legace looked really good after the scary looking knee injury.

You had me doubting what I saw so I went back to the game tape and it looks to me like Holmstrom popped it up off the ice, off of Labarbera's mask, and in. I'm thinking this is one that needs to be added to the multimedia archive so I'll capture it as soon as I can.

That's cool! I am not sure if they showed the replay more on the Detroit local coverage. On my Center Ice package for some reason last night was the TSN feed with Chris Cuthbert and Glenn Healy doing the play-by-play. But TSN only showed goal replays once and from bad angles.

A (slightly edited) copy of the FSN coverage is available from http://www.detroitho...olmstrom/video/ (it's the first clip listed).

Yeah, that's clearly off the mask. Wow!
