Nice to see the power play working pretty well so far in the first. 2-for-5 as I type this with another coming up. With Calgary's PK being worst in the league, not sure what kind of sign that is.
Is this the same Calgary team that a lot of people picked to win the conference? They can't control their sticks or make a clean line change! They're in trouble.
And to prove that, while I was typing the Wings just went to 3-for-6 on the PP with one more left. Wow.
Wings vs. Flames

If the Flames can't get away with their penalties, they're gonna suck. They only beat the Wings last time around by hooking and holding.
Who are you and why are you so perky?

And the Flames score their second after the refs decided to swallow their whistles. I guess the crackdown ends when the Flames are losing.

Can't complain about a 6-3 win. Five goals on the PP is nuts.
The Flames fans over on TSN were complaining about how these refs (who officiated both of Calgary's previous games) suddenly changed what was a penalty and what wasn't. Odd complaint considering what they got away with in the third.
