Without a home win since October 15, the Red Wings look to get back on track tonight as they host a Winnipeg Jets team that beat them 4-2 a week ago in Manitoba.

Detroit will have Johan Franzen back in the lineup as he returns from the un-named mystery injury that kept him out since late October.  He'll skate on the second line with Darren Helm and Daniel Alfredsson.

To make room for Franzen's return, Daniel Cleary will be a healthy scratch.  He joins Jordin Tootoo and Patrick Eaves out of the lineup.

Jimmy Howard gets the start opposite Ondrej Pavelec.

Stupid stat of the day: The Red Wings haven't lost at home on November 12 since 1983.

Game time is 7:30 PM on FSD.

That was a slow break, how did no one get back?

I miss when the Wings used to get odd-man rushes.

Can the first unit play every power play minute? That was a really nice shift.

Celebrate the goal, but the Wings are still only getting scoring from that line.

How many seconds will be left in OT when the GWG is scored this time?

Meanwhile Val Filpulla scored the winning shoot out goal for Tampa Bay vs Montreal. Did Filpulla ever even shoot in shoot outs when he played here? Just wondering....

Rarely.  Fourth or fifth in line on the Wings.

i did pvr the Jets-Red Wings game and was happy to watch my Jets win... but thought there need to be some improvements made.. as for the Red Wings, Pavel Daystuk sure is one magican.. talented for sure.. I bet every NHL team hate to play against Pavel and the Red Wings for that matter but always fun to watch him outdeck some players like he did to Nashville late last season...
