After a couple days off, the Red Wings are back in action tonight as they host the St. Louis Blues. It'll be the first meeting between the teams since the Blues' rout of Detroit in St. Louis to open the season two weeks ago.
The Blues are coming off a 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night while the Red Wings last played on Tuesday, a 4-1 win of their own over the Dallas Stars.
Detroit is expecting no lineup changes from Tuesday's game, marking the first time this season for the Wings to keep the same lineup for two games in a row.
St. Louis will swap out Brian Elliot in goal for Jaroslav Halak. Elliot went last night against Columbus while Halak was in net for the opener against the Wings.
Game time is 7:30 PM on FSD. I'm expecting to catch this one on the radio, so I won't be doing any in-game updates.
