Already down Nicklas Lidstrom, Pavel Datsyuk, Jonathan Ericsson and Patrick Eaves, the Red Wings could also be without Todd Bertuzzi this afternoon when they host the Chicago Blackhawks.

Bertuzzi left Friday's 6-0 win over the Minnesota Wild with a lower-body injury and will be a game-time decision against Chicago. If he's unable to play, Chris Conner has been called up from the Grand Rapids Griffins to take his place.

The Blackhawks, meanwhile, are without captain Jonathan Toews.

Game time is 4:00 PM on FSD.

So we've had the predictable PPG against, an awful turnover turned into a goal against, an ineffective power play, and two injuries. Sounds like an afternoon game, except the Wings actually look a little better than usual.

Relative mystery. Kindl should have been held out in the first place, Babcock said, and the team's calling it upper-body.

People are kind of assuming that Howard's "lower-body" means groin. He says he's just a little sore.
