I don't know who ran into who but these practices have to mellow a little. Legace trips over a puck now Drapes goes down.

Lucky it happened now and not on the doorstep of the playoffs.

He is key player for the Wings come playoff time.  There is no doubting he will win the Selke, even despite this injury.

Yea Neddy I hear ya. I think if it was Play off time he would just get a Cortizone shot and play. Those shots do wonders. Mine is just starting to wear off after a few months.
Neddy get some of your bored buds to post here so we can get this place rockin for the play offs.

I was only half watching the game tonight... he collided with someone during practice?  Who was it?

Has there been any estimates on how long he'll be out.  Rotator cuff injuries are not good with less than a month and a half till the playoffs start.  We'll be in bad shape on the PK with Drapes during the playoffs.

Corizone has helped my Right shoulder and with any luck the left will keep responding from one that I got a few Months ago. They do work. If it was Play off time it would get him through. But why risk it right now? Rest is best.

Eyetricks....

according to the papers etc....

Drapes was with others on shot practice...got a last pass, took the shot and his twig hit/got stuck/glanced off CUJO's mask.....

Drapes went down weird on his left shoulder....which is his shooting side. He's a LEFTY.

A friend had spures in his shoulder...(not a tear) but he came back to his normal activities in about a month.

Knowing DRAPER and the staff....he'll take the week...heal the muscle around it etc. Then begin treatment.... He's in excellent condition/Health....

Maybe 3 weeks... He can keep up his conditioning... like Homer DID... skate, ride the bike.... sprints....etc.

But more like 4....it's a bumer.....

I hope this doesn't hurt his chance at the Selke....

Regarding shoulder injuries....

I damaged my rotator cuff playing football 3 weeks ago.  I couldn't raise my arm past 90 degrees and your confidence to deliver and take hits is also effected.  It still hurts now - I am even changing gears in my car with my opposite arm it hurts that much.

I say Drapes should go to surgery if required or rest up until the playoffs.  It should improve by then but if it there is still pain I am sure he will get the cortisone shot to get him through the 1st round.....cause that's where the Wings season ends hehehe

Go AVS!!  :D

Oh no Ned you didn't go there ::D:  1st round LOL! The worst time for my shoulder is driving also but I drive an automatic and the turns hurt sometimes, but may be the cause of Nerves in my neck that run into my shoulder being pinched because I have lost the cushion between my verterbraes in my neck somehow. I may try a shot in the neck soon. Like I said they do work, sometimes only short term but relief is relief. Go for the shot Ned don't suffer. Like the Av's will in the 1st round.
