I can't believe Hudler pulled that move. I think he wanted to do anything but that, he kept faking and only pulled that out when Bachman didn't bite on anything. That's going on the site when I fix all my multimedia.

Not a credible rumor, just my thoughts. If the family didn't move to be with him when he signed a four-year deal, they're not going to at all. Which means it's California or nothing for them, which means he would at least want to see if he can get back to California as a free agent.
