The Red Wings kick off a four-game road trip tonight as they visit the Dallas Stars.

Darren Helm and Tomas Holmstrom - who had been targeting this game for their return from groin injuries - will not play. This means the rookie line of Cory Emmerton, Joakim Andersson and Gustav Nyquist remains intact. Jimmy Howard gets the start. Jakub Kindl is the healthy scratch on defense.

Game time is 8:00 PM. TV is FSD locally and NBCSN (formerly Versus) nationally.
