I've always said the draft is difficult for me to get really interested in because the Wings haven't brought players straight in via the draft in years. The trades are fun, though, so I thought I'd open up a thread for it.
Right now there's a denied rumor about Brian Campbell being dealt to the Jackets. Love this stuff.

At the Plymouth / Kitchener game I was at earlier this year, Landeskog was clearly better than every other player on the ice. After dealing Liles I wondered if the Avs would go for a defenseman in Larsson but obviously this was a good choice.

McGuire is a tool. Larsson isn't a steal. He's a top-four pick and the three teams before New Jersey didn't need defense. I thought Colorado might have taken him but I guess having picked up Johnson, they thought the power forward need was worse.

Chipman makes the Winnipeg Jets name official. I would have preferred to have them wait and do it as "With the seventh overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft... the Winnipeg Jets select..."

Chicago managed to unload Campbell to Florida. Interesting to hear exactly what that deal is when it's official.
Edit: Can't believe the 'Hawks managed to get a player back in return for a cap dump. They should have had to pay Florida to make that deal.
