Ruslan Salei remains out, in California with his family. Pavel Datsyuk is out with a "lower body injury" suffered against Columbus on Thursday. Johan Franzen is out either after being "bumped" on Thursday or with the flu. Jiri Hudler is sick. Todd Bertuzzi is having back trouble.
Jimmy Howard will backstop the depleted squad.
