It's a matinée matchup against an Eastern Conference team today, which is pretty good setup for a Red Wings loss.

Jimmy Howard gets the start against the Philadelphia Flyers. Patrick Eaves is still out, he's got an infected cut on his arm. That means Tomas Tatar will get another look.

It's my last day off before heading back to work so I'm scrambling a bit today, trying to finish some stuff up. May be in and out during the game. We'll see.

Quiet night in here.

Took too long for the Wings to figure out how to get into the slot. Flyers did a great job of keeping them to the outside.

Frustrating as hell to see Leino playing like he wants to do something with the puck. Of course, the Wings will probably turn that fifth-round pick they got for him into something worthwhile so at least there's that.
