Red Wings @ Coyotes - Game 7 - 4/27

I don't know what to expect going into tonight's matchup. Detroit isn't making any lineup changes but the Coyotes could see the return of captain Shane Doan, who completed a full practice with the team for the first time since leaving Game Three with a shoulder injury.
As I said yesterday, the Red Wings can win this one. Just last week they had an awful afternoon game at home and bounced back with a big win in the next game. There's no reason it couldn't happen again.
Sunday's lack of effort should have no bearing on tonight's game but - to me, at least - it does.
In the past I would have no problem with believing the Wings would flip a switch and get the big win. They've done it plenty of times.
After pathetic efforts on consecutive Sundays, however, I don't know that the Red Wings want to flip that switch. If they wanted to, why the apathy in those two games?
In short, I believe the Wings have the ability to win but I don't have faith in their desire right now.
Game time is 9:00 (not the previously-reported 10:00). We'll see what happens.

name. Thy will be done. The cup will be won. On ice, as well as in the
stands. Give us this day our hockey sticks. And forgive us our
penalties, as we forgive those who cross-check against us, Lead us not
into elimination. But deliver us to victory. In the name of the fans,
Lord Stanley, and the Wings. Amen...

I'm not saying this series is lost. I'm just saying this team needs to wake the f*ck up and play like they give a damn.Amen... my bro asked "why" when I asked for him to wear a wings jersey for tonights game for good luck. Its not meant to be. Hes been into this series as much as ever then asks why... I forced him to wear the jersey. Yotes 3-2 over wings.
If they lose, they lose. I'm fine with that as long as they don't waste my goddamned time by not giving any effort.

I made the mistake of deciding to mow my lawn this evening. Thing is, Comcast never properly buried my cable line when they installed my service last summer. I've always been careful with it so it's never been an issue, I planned on burying it myself when I put in my sprinkler system this summer.
Of course, today it's an issue. Sometime between last week and this week, my cable got moved and was no longer pushed into the ground, below the height of my lawnmower blade. About two hours before the start of the game, I had a partially-mowed lawn and no cable.
Thankfully I'm a telecom geek and I have compression F connectors and extra coax and all that sitting around the house. Twenty minutes before the start of the game and my TV and Internet are back, hacked together.
Eat it, Gog.

That made me picture the Wings in full gear taking a class on the art of bedazzling with a bunch of old ladies hahaha. Sounds like an awful movie or TV commercial. Maybe that's what they need to do to win? I'll write some letters to Babcock about it.We've been missing the bedazzling this season.
