Justin Abdelkader will replace Jason Williams in the Red Wings' lineup tomorrow night in Phoenix, as per Ansar Khan.
As that was my one coaching complaint about last night's game, I love this move. I'd be surprised to see Williams in the lineup for the rest of the playoffs, however long that run may be.

I still believe the lilja erricsson pair is our weak spot and will continue to hamper the team. They are slow to recover pucks when shot in deep behind the net, its all downhill from there on most occasions. lilja/lebda pair PLEASE its way better combination of speed and grit. puck moving d-man in lebda... Must put lebda in.

Not an awful period. I was shocked that the Wings had won 7 of 10 defensive zone faceoffs, it didn't feel like they were doing that well. I only remember them winning one battle along the boards in their own end. Gotta be better than that.

Given how fantastic the Wings' offense was going in that period, I don't think it's unreasonable to say it's disappointing to not be in the lead right now.

WTF is up with our D-men pinching so much. Way too much pinching especially when slow pair lilja/erricsson out there. Leading to breakouts the other way. Insane second period by the way
