Red Wings @ Blackhawks - 4/11

As Khan notes, a Chicago win clinches the top spot in the Western Conference for the Blackhawks and a first-round matchup with the Colorado Avalanche. Anything less than a win leaves Chicago in second place, playing either the Los Angeles Kings or the Nashville Predators.
Chicago can't finish second and play Detroit because a Chicago loss means a Detroit win, which would put the Red Wings in fifth place playing the Phoenix Coyotes. The Wings would also play Phoenix if they lose in overtime and Los Angeles loses.
A loss by Detroit in regulation, combined with the Kings getting at least a point today, drops the Wings to seventh to play the San Jose Sharks.
The Wings can finish sixth and face the Vancouver Canucks if both Detroit and LA lose in regulation or if the Wings lose in overtime and the Kings win.

Nice win there in OT to keep 5th. PHX, here we come!
Very satisfying win....What I like about this team is that they've stuck together, remained cohesive, no matter the obstacles they've faced. I hope that gives them an edge going into the playoffs....
Also, anyone see the Frozen Four games? Watching BC, I thought I could see how Patrick Eaves fit into that system...and the goal he scored today could have been right out of their current playbook...fast, tough, and opportunistic.
I'm looking for the specific playoff schedule (like days and times), and I'm not finding it. Has it been released yet? If not, why not? (Are the powers-that-be trying to find a way to best screw the Wings or pave the way for the Penguins? Or more likely, am I looking in the wrong places...Wings website...NHL.com?)
