Like last Tuesday, Calgary is the opponent tonight. Win and sit three points up on them, one back of the idle Nashville Predators. Lose and drop back to ninth place, like last week.
One possible key difference from last week and this... Brett Lebda remains on the blue line while Jonathan Ericsson is a healthy scratch. With Jimmy Howard making his 127th consecutive start, the Wings are going with the same lineup they've used in their previous two games, both wins.

How dumb of me to not think of that! Obviously public school isn't doing it's job.Are you in a public school? If so, the worst they can do is fail you. This game only happens once, you can repeat classes as much as you have to.

I'd just like to point out that at the end of the second there the Wings got screwed by a call and it ended up being in their favor. No way that should have been a penalty shot but because it was and Jimmy stopped it, they were still on the power play to score their goal.

Massive two points. Every win from here on out is huge but a four point game is even moreso.
The last two games have been very satisfying...the Wings always (even in "good times") seem to have trouble with teams like Calgary who are fast and physical, if not very creative....It's very good to see them grind out these close ones....
