Red Wings @ Islanders - 1/12

How's that for ridiculous scheduling? The Wings play four games out west, head all the way back east, go home for a game, head down to Dallas for an afternoon game on Saturday, and then less than 24 hours later are back in Detroit to host the Blackhawks. Couldn't work Edmonton or Calgary in there, NHL?
Jimmy Howard gets the start, as has to be expected at this point. Ville Leino subs in for Brad May in the only lineup change of note.

Edit: Okay, he's back, can we just end the game now before someone does get hurt?

What, you mean the Wings go a game without losing anybody? Are you crazy?Fantastic, Helm is hurt.
Edit: Okay, he's back, can we just end the game now before someone does get hurt?
I didn't realize what time it was, so I just turned the game on a few minutes ago. How good was the Islanders goal? I'm concerned that they had one so early into the game, haha.
