The Ducks come into tonight's matchup with Joffrey Lupul. The Wings, meanwhile, are missing about 7 players better than Lupul so you're not gonna find me crying for Anaheim. Teemu Selanne is also out for the Ducks but I'm still not crying.

Ville Leino is back in the lineup, playing on a Frankenstein second line with Justin Abdelkader and Todd Bertuzzi. I propose calling this the "I'm not even supposed to be here today" line as Leino and Abdelkader should still be in Grand Rapids and there are plenty of people who think Bertuzzi has no place in the NHL.

Jimmy Howard gets the start in Detroit's net. Supposedly Jonas Hiller gets the nod for Anaheim.

Good news is after my rants the wings have some kind of comeback. This was after period 1 vs. devils I said, "This team that brings itself upon the ice surface for the Red Wings is absolutely HORRIBLE. Devils 2nd game on a back-to-back and completely outplay the wings or whatever you want to call them. They should tank and get a high pick for once. I can't bare to watch."

They come back to get a point in ot loss, then win sunday v rangers.
