The Red Wings are down yet another player, as Brian Rafalski will miss tonight's matchup with the Edmonton Oilers with a sore back. Jakub Kindl, called up yesterday from the Grand Rapids Griffins, will make his NHL debut.
That's the only lineup change for Detroit.
Up front, Ville Leino and Todd Bertuzzi will switch lines as coach Mike Babcock tries to get Pavel Datsyuk going.
Jimmy Howard will get the start in net.
Game time is 7:00, moved up from the originally-scheduled time of 7:30.
I'll miss most of this one as I've got a 7:50 soccer game. Like the Wings, FC TSC is going with their backup goalie, and that would be me.

Awhile ago the Oilers got a second goal.
Cleary just scored right before the period ended. That was a good goal.

Although the Wings aren't playing completely sh*tty, it's a little discouraging to realize as Mickey or Ken said that 4 goals (now 5) had been scored, and the Wings had scored 3 of them, 2 own goals. I almost quit watching. I hope to see them come out flying in the third....Who else can get hurt?!

I missed pretty much the whole thing. I don't think I'm going back to watch it.
The good news is that the Wings think Ericsson is okay.
At least FC TSC only had one own-goal against in our 6-5 win.
