The Wings look like they're trying to find new and exciting ways to not score goals. Half a billion shots, none of which count. Ignoring, of course, the two goals that I thought should have counted but didn't.
It occurs to me that the other teams are getting goals with way too little effort while the Wings are not getting goals at all....There must be a good reason for this. They're getting the shots (although too many of them are directly at the goalie or they are deflected and blocked). I cannot imagine how frustrated they must be...just gotta shake it off and keep working. There are NO GOOD referees. Sorry.

One positive of all this losing at the time is the wings aren't getting blown out, opponent scoring is very low but wings scoring is even lower.
Not much excitement in Detroit Pro sports or Michigan collegiate sports except maybe for Central Michigan football at this point in time.

The Wings aren't dealing from a position of strength. If you're gonna blame Holland for anything it's for signing Williams and Bertuzzi in the first place while missing out on Prospal and Afinogenov. Though in all honesty Williams was playing better than I expected before he went down and I still say Bertuzzi is a pleasant surprise, though I wish he's score some damned goals.
