Chris Osgood is back and gets the start. Kirk Maltby is in, too, replacing the still-goalless Brad May.

Both of Detroit's power plays thus far have felt like they were late in the game with a big lead. Lots of passing, very efficient, not a lot of scoring attempts. It looks nice but it's not much good in a 0-0 first period.
