If the Wings don't pull it together, we'll see that result within the month.
Detroit looks to bounce back from a blanking by the worst team in the league followed by a comeback victory by a playoff contender - both at home - against a St. Louis Blues team that is one point out of a playoff spot and lost to Chicago last night.
Ty Conklin gets the start for the Red Wings. That's supposedly their only lineup change from Sunday.

Did I read that wrong or when did the playoffs start? :xTonight's game kind of snuck up on me. Two wholly-depressing losses in a row followed by a bunch of time off usually means two losses to end the playoffs and then an offseason.
I hope this goes better then the past week, which was terrible. Maybe it was the Wings' sort of April Fool's joke.
Powerplay for the Wings!

but considering the game is about halfway over, I guess it's not really the start.

Yeah, I'll deal. May I have a better night than Conklin, I'm putting my unbeaten record on the line.
