Marian Hossa will return to the Detroit lineup, making his first appearance since last time the Wings were in St. Louis. He skated on a line with Henrik Zetterberg and Dan Cleary in practice.
Tomas Holmstrom, who had been skating on the third line since his return from surgery, was skating with Pavel Datsyuk and Johan Franzen on Friday.
Chris Osgood will get the start. My prediction is that if he plays well he'll get the start again on Sunday, with Mike Babcock sending a message to Ty Conklin. That's a big "if" with how this season's gone for Ozzie, though.

>:c you and your schedule! My calendar has the game dates & times on it, I just don't give it the time of day because it's in an awkward spot. + that one discussion on here about hockey not being a afternoon sport totally supports this. The game just popped out of nowhere and caught me off guard.
+ Happy to see Hossa back today. I hope this Mason isn't as good as the Jackets' one.
