Tomas Holmstrom remains out of the lineup but Zetterberg's return bumps Ville Leino to the pressbox as the Wings want to get another look at Darren Helm. Leino is expected to play again on Saturday afternoon.
Chris Osgood gets his second start in a row for the Wings.
Gametime is 7:30 with TV coverage on FSN Plus.

I am excited for Helm to be playing, because he is a favourite of my favourite players.
And besides the whole factor of winning for the Wings, I would also like to see them win so I can see Gretzky's angry expressions, I still get a kick out of them

Got back in time to see the really nice pass from Datsyuk to Zata for the goal. Great to see them clicking.

See what I said earlier this week about Detroit's game against St. Louis? You could almost copy and paste it here.
Chris Osgood had a great first period and slowly fell apart for the rest of the game. Overall the defense was weak.
For once things looked good up front. Darren Helm was all over the place, Henrik Zetterberg looked good in his return, and Marian Hossa was the beast that he usually is.
For the second game in a row, the Wings got some bounces. The way they're playing, they need them.
