At least it was a quick period, this might be over before Bauer is on.

I said that (and possibly Franzen)Datsyuk, Hudler, Hossa?
I didn't read anything else because I am bogged with make up work but I love you guys so much I'm sharing my opinion!
I am happy the Wings won, obviously, they needed it. They were really sloppy and kept losing it in their end, etc. etc. as you all know.
Now I must bid you adieu to go snuggle up with my geometry book.
It's all in Legace! Is Maltby that good or Legace that bad?

I'm glad to see grand rapids players getting some play time, Leino getting some 1st line play time is awesome.
Maybe Ericsson is next get called up?

Chris Osgood played well, ignoring the first fluky goal. Marian Hossa had a typically strong game. Other than that, were there any good points?
The Red Wings failed to forecheck. They turned the puck over in the neutral zone, They couldn't get shots to the net.
Detroit can thank Manny Legace for being completely worthless in net for St. Louis. He should have had at least the first two Wings goals, if not all three.
Needless to say, I'm not ready to declare the Wings' slump over.

I wanted to write some all-inclusive game recap but what is there to say about the Red Wings' shootout win over the Blues other than they didn't those two points.

I think turnovers are killing the wings right now, the turnovers at the blueline and in the neutral zone hurt. Also they're not clearing the puck on the penalty kill. I say just let the d-men shoot from the blueline and cover the players in the slot on pk.
