Hello to all posters!! I'm new here.. I'm a gopher.. thus the name Mr. Gopher.. actually my name is Ryan... so I was searching thru Google for fantasy sports leagues to join and I happened to stumble into this nice site... I was wondering as I am eager to play GM of a team in here, do I have to register for the list to get a team or what?? I'm a casual hockey fan and would love to learn some good things about being a fantasy GM of a team.... hope I can be welcomed here in a good way...

It looks like you found the DFHL waiting list. As you probably saw, it could be a long wait but I'm working on a couple things that might help with that. In the meantime, stick around and make yourself comfortable.

Yes, yes... I did poke around a bit.. and lucked into the joining list.. so it is a good thing I decided to check around and somehow find that specific list... I did look at several topics and though maybe it would be a good idea to look around... I'm glad I am on the waiting list.. but I do know it will be a long time like you have said about getting a team... I can wait and learn as well in the period of time....

Your searching led you to the right place Gopher. I have been in every fantasy league out there (almost literally) and never stick around very long because they do not compare to the mighty DFHL.

The site Yzerfan runs is worth the price of admission alone (ignore that the price of admission is nothing...you know what I mean).

Mr. Badger was the same person as NorthStar (aka Sharky). He's a former member of the DFHL who asked to be removed from the forums a little while ago. I couldn't delete his account because he had already posted so I banned him (basically killing the account without orphaning his posts).

If he had asked to have that account reactivated it wouldn't have been a problem but instead he made up a false story about how he found the site.
