Hasek gets the start in Dallas, the rotation continues rather than going with the hot hand.
The Dallas media seems to be doom-and-gloom. Fine by me. They may or may not get Zubov back.
SI calls the game a must-win for Dallas...
It's hard to imagine how a team that looks so confident, so capable, when it lines up against every other team can empty its pockets and fork over its lunch money as soon as it sees that famous winged wheel crest. No club is more spooked by the Wings' aura than the Stars, and no player pulls the sheets up over his head faster than Turco, whose career mark against Detroit stands at 1-10-5 after the latest de-pantsing.
I'll miss the game live thanks to some home improvement projects. This is why I dislike afternoon games. At night I can sit around and watch hockey, in the afternoon I have stuff to do.

Hope you're building a bar in your basement? with Red Wing Logo illuminating the drinking surfaces? Haha.

As much as I would love to build some bad-ass place to entertain in the basement, that's not up. A new kitchen sink. Which will probably go badly and lead to new countertops and new cabinets, 'cause that's how things work around here, but we'll see.Hope you're building a bar in your basement? with Red Wing Logo illuminating the drinking surfaces? Haha.
Agreed about no need to rest on any laurels, though. The Stars always scare me, they play a tough game and a lot of Detroit's wins against them could have gone the other way.

On the flip side, things can also change for the better. The Wings have a lot of cap space for a trade deadline pickup, after all.

Jagr?
Let's say this happens, what do you do with the C and A situtation? Leave as is or have him rotate as well.
A line with him Datsyuk and Homer? Fillpula and Zata?
Is there enough room for him inside the locker room?
Does he sign on for more than the season?
Or are they going after someone else?
