Another game I'm going to be playing catch-up for. I'll probably miss the first two periods live but expect to be caught up for the end of the game.

I love how everytime I turn around from my project to watch a little piece of the game, Pavel and Henrik have a new linemate .

Shall the frenzy continue during the second? Who knows....

Wings not looking too sharp tonite. Holmstrom/Maltby/Draper are missed.

Wings aren't getting enough second chances.

The two goalie interference calls on Downey were weak.

Damnit, I hate the shootout.

The Wings finally looked good in the final minutes of OT.

Bah, Wings continue to be awful in the shootout. At least they got the point, probably more than they deserved tonight.

Agreed. ):

I was happy with Zetterburg until the shootout, the slapshot disappointed me.

Despite the shootout loss, I thought the WINGS' overall effort was good. Certainly not their best effort, but certainly adequate for winning under normal circumstances. The DOMINATOR did not have a lot of shots during regular and OT periods. But a couple of the saves he did make were good ones. On the other hand, The OILER goals were credible. Probably not much that could have been done by anyone to prevent them. But just as noteworthy were several WING scoring chances, especially during that second half of the third period and during the O.T. period, that just didn't get past ROLOFSON. Guess it was just one of those games where the bounces, passes and shots on net weren't going the WINGS way.
