Oh, I'm not saying either team will let up, far from it. I just don't expect quite as much hitting in the first few of the remaining games.
Ok, but my point is this. If they wait until the last few games to crank it up, aern't they likely to possibly injure one another on the eve of the playoffs. I feel that they will do the opposite and refrain from any antics in the final games against one another. Besides, what would be the benefit of waiting, if you need your information to characterize the content of your probably biggest rivals, if in fact you meet in the playoffs, where there is no time to gather insightful data.
The bottom line for me is this:
1. Get your information early because you will not meet in the first round anyway, which gives time for other sizing.
2. Deter all possible injuries late in the second half by getting your digs in while there is still time to recover if an injury is accrued.
3. We're all different and your opinion is just as valid as mine.
