Should be a good match up! Hopefully we can bust Miller wide open

Hasek looks bad, Miller looks worse, and there are as many Sabres fans as Wings fans here. Crazy.

I have a couple of people to blame for this one:

1. HASEK period! Not because of the shootout, but because he took that ridiculous penalty that lead to the GTG. AND WILL SOMEBODY PUT SOME VELCRO OR GLUE ON HIS FRIGGIN STICK! BASICS! Also something to be said for 43-17 SOG

2. DATSYUK. I know the guy needs to stpe up however, he is trying to do too much of a one man show. There were several occasions where he turned the puck over because he was showboating.

On another note part of me still looks for Stevie to be in the starting lineup. Old habbits die hard I guess... Hard to imagine he is never going to be out there

I'd put that in the plus category. The Wings are playing very well defensively and their offense was strong. After the first period, Miller really kicked ass.

I was saying at the game, I worry every time the puck goes over center ice. Not just when it's in the Wings' zone or when the Wings face a shot, but when it's in their half of the ice.

Now watch, I'm bitching about Hasek and Osgood will come out on Monday and be rusty and suck, too.

I'll be going through my photos from warmups and dumping them onto the site later today or tomorrow. Not sure if anything from the shootout turned out, I was way up in the corner (though I could have moved up, the three Buffalo fans in front of us in the first popped up in the fourth row for the rest of the game).

For the 43-17 SOG that just goes to show you how bad the Groininator sucks. Miller was peppered, while Hasek was barely challenged. He let in some garbage, even on the shootout. I will be in LA and Anaheim next week, I'll shoot you live coverage. Hopefully Ozzie will be on point and Hasek will fall to #2

You know what, take back Legace. He was such a good goalie last season. He was our main reason for bringing home the Presidents Trophy. Hes been a faithful goalie, Sticked with us in 2002. Even though he lost the first round in the playoffs, hes still loyal. Hes a fricken BACKUP-GOALIE!! :therock: And to tell you the truth, I dont blame him for leaving. He wanted to be a 1 string goalie, but Holland said no. He so deserved to be a 1 string goalie. I believe thats why he left. This season going to be bumpy ride.

What we should have done was picked up Jiggy when we had the chance. Now we are stuck with an AARP all star :therock:

At least the Tigers are showing some good promise!

When did we have the chance? He makes too much money and the Ducks wanted too much in return.

According to Hockey this morning on XM 204 talks about Jiggy were going on about the same time Hasek was signed. They said that Holland had been in contact with the ducks front office since Bryzgalov might be made the #1 and it was rumored that Jiggy wanted to be traded if that was going to be the case. Not sure if this is 100 percent the case however, everything I have ever heard on that show has been right on the money.

I don't doubt that talks were ongoing, I just say that I'm sure the Ducks' price was too high, and that I don't know how the Wings could have fit Giguere in under the cap.
