Let's make up for last night! By the way Clark, I just figured with so many penalities on opening night I thought it was worth at least one "Holy Crap"

Way to open things up boys! Norton and a fight, Franzen with the goal!
Looks like Cheli is treating Crosby the same way he used to treat Kariya. On another note he won his first Stanley cup before Staal was born! Talk about old!

Crosby's an annoying little pipsqueak, glad to see Chelios rough him up a bit and, before that, Zetterberg jaw right back at him. I had nothing against the Ice Chickens until he came into the league.

I agree, Crosby is an annoying little s*&t! Not much excitement in the 2nd, I was hoping to see Z and D light up the lamp.

Good to see the Wings get that first win under their belt. Played another strong defensive game but this time got a little offense to help them out and Hasek didn't suck.
Like Ken and Mickey said, that Hasek just now tied Osgood for career wins says a lot about Osgood. I always use Osgood's performance in Game 7 of the 1996 Western Conference Semis as the example of why he doesn't suck, maybe I should break out that stat more often instead.

Did anyone else feel thta this game was a little boring or is it just me? Nice to pick up a shutout however, I feel that Z and D are having some issues finding each other.

Yeah, kinda dull. Solid defensive hockey by both sides but, the fight not withstanding, not very physical. With so few big hits and goals, it seemed like a lot of skating back and forth. But the Wings seemed to click a lot better than in the opener, so I'm not complaining.
